Adaptive Actions publication (London)

Adaptive Actions publication: Several collaborators, Modern Activity, SPACE Art Centre under the coordination by Jean-François Prost are presently working on the first Adaptive Actions publication which will be launched at SPACE (Hackney, London) in winter 2009.

This publication of some 80 pages will include two sections: one with several chosen actions, and a second section on the specific London Adaptive Actions programming: the Olympic perimeter actions, walks, conversations and organised suppers. Also included commissioned texts by: Pascal Nicolas-Le Strat (France) on the Adaptive Actions raised issues, Frank Nobert (Quebec) on different actions and by Judith Laister (Austria) a London workshop participant who presented the project at the EASA (European Association of Social Anthropologists)
2008 Biennial in the field of contemporary art. The production of this publication will resort to methodological work applied to the general
content in order to create categories based on groups or shared aspects as well as determine fields of interest – thus complementing the web chapter whilst ensuring a publication that is   specific and content-targeted.
